Support Y.O.U. today!

Thank you for your interest in supporting our work! Every dollar you give makes a tremendous difference in the lives of Evanston’s youth and their families. Below are a few examples of how your support makes a difference:

$50 Allows us to provide an additional week of afterschool enrichment to a youth, helping that child grow academically, socially, andemotionally.
$100 Allows us to meet the immediate needs of a family by providing case management and making connections to supportive services such as shelter and food.
$250 Allows us to send a group of 25 youth on an experiential learning field trip where they learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through hands-on exploration.
$500 Allows us to provide one more youth with mental health support.
$1,000 Allows us to support one more youth through our nine-week summer learning program. A gift of this size also qualifies you as a member of the Don Baker Circle for Youth.

We are able to make such a large impact with your support because we focus your resources on direct services, rather than overhead and administration. As an example, Y.O.U.’s occupancy costs are just 5% of our budget, compared to an an average cost of 13% among similar youth development organizations. We realize this lower cost by nimbly sharing space with schools, churches, and libraries during their low-utilization hours rather than running all programs in our own space.

“Thanks to Y.O.U., our students feel connected to school and to their learning.  We see Y.O.U.’s impact every day in our classrooms. Y.O.U.’s tutoring, mentorship, and clinical counseling helps make sure that our students enter our school doors ready to succeed.”
